- Into The Sea at Six Senses Evason resort, Phuket - No thai food here, only tasty mediterrean influenced cuisine that could be one day worthy of a Michelin star. Great wine list and fanastic view of the Andaman sea.
- Il Lido, Sentosa Island, Singapore - I really doubted I would enjoy the food here considering where I live, but I was very impressed with the mix of authentic and new age Italian dishes at this expensive restaurant on a golf course in Sentosa Island. The risotto with black truffles was one of the best italian dishes I have ever consumed. Other highlights were beef carpaccio and smoked fettucine.
- Din Tai Fung, Hong Kong (Tsim Sha Tsui) - reliably good dim sum chain with the tastied soup filed pork dumplings I've had.
